Nielsen Family Fun!

We've been asked to be a Nielsen Family. Our stint is only for a week, so we have to keep a viewing diary, instead of having one of those little boxes attached to our set. They sent us little TV diary books, a letter explaining what to do, and, most amusingly, $5.00 cash (in singles, no less) as a thank you for participating.

It's a bit disapointing that our week is in the middle of the writer's strike, but I am looking forward to listing shows like Doctor Who, Torchwood and Top Gear. :)

In Other News...

Keeping fingers crossed for an Obama/Sebelius ticket...

Stayed home sick with a rotten headache yesterday. (Boo.) But it let me play with my new serger when I felt better in the afternoon. (Yay.)

Tonight we will be braving the snow and cold to see Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings play the Granada. Sadly, the snowy-cold means that I will be dressing for warmth instead of music-appropriately, but I expect the music will be great anyway. :) I just hate the coat/no coat dilemma.
