Not to worry, it's only a movie. :)

We finally got around to watching Doomsday last night, Snakette Plissken and all. And, I confess, I actually enjoyed it. It's not a good movie, or an artistically valid movie, or even a movie with a plot, but it does have a lot of explosions, 80s music, car chases, and decapitated heads flying at (and in one case actually hitting) the camera.

Bonus: the thesis statement of the film seems to be "Scottish people are CRAZY". Lock them behind a fence for a few years, and they degenerate into either punk-rock cannibals or overactive medieval re-enactment enthusiasts who dress like extras from "Excalibur".

I had so much fun watching it though, that I will give it a 3 out of 5 tit-monkey rating.
