Makeover for Wonder Woman at 69 - NY times.

I'm not a big fan of the design (the top half is better than the bottom, though - shiny pants? Spurs? *headdesk*), and I'm definitely not a fan of all the ideas behind it, as expressed by Straczynski and Lee in the article. I would really have preferred slightly less sexist and slightly less clueless commentary about her re-design; especially coming from two artists whose work I usually enjoy.

Electric Boogaloo is going to be Snow White for Halloween. I shan't lie, I do have some rather awesome "Wicked Step-Mother" costume ideas. What I don't have, however, is a working sewing machine or the fabric I want for any of them. But I'm still thinking about apples, or at least apple-bearing women, maybe.

So far, the front runners are Eris and Idunn.

Idunn is currently in the lead, because she's Norse, and therefore dressed for the weather. Also, because I'm just not sure of the wisdom of evoking Eris at Samhain...
