Just a general update with some Faire stuff and Happy, Horny May Day wishes to all.
Auditioned for KCRF on Friday. ( Behind a cut for those who just don't care! )
In other news, it rained all day Saturday, so none of the outdoor type work that needed to be done got done. We slept until noon-ish, and I spent the afternoon mostly doing laundry and other indoor tasks, with breaks for the gym and going out for margaritas (Yay!). Also spent some time in the highly intellectual pursuit of watching part of a Miami Vice marathon, and trying to make sure that the teenager didn't boil her brains by over-studying for her upcoming AP European History exam this week.
Sunday I had the above mentioned callbacks for KCRF, then Gareth and I spent the evening hanging out with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
radcliffe and watching the two most recent episodes of Doctor Who. I am only a tiny bit embarrassed to admit that I cried a lot over the re-appearance of Sarah Jane and K-9. I would like to note here that I think it was because the show is incredibly well-written, and not just because I am an overly-emotional geek. :) radcliffe has also been kind enough to loan us her spare TV until we get a new one in June, so we were able to return home and watch the re-broadcast of the Sopranos without the squiggly-lines that we have been enjoying for the past few weeks.
I've taken tomorrow off work to attend a school meeting for the teenager and hopefully get some yard work done. We'll see how that goes.
