Hey Look, a Post!

Thing #1:
I finished my final project last week for the class I was taking - "Conservation Principles and Practices" in the Museum Studies Program. I think it turned out fairly well, given that I really didn't want to write it and was far more interested in spending time with my new novel idea. So I'm taking the summer off to concentrate on fiction. Yay, fiction!
Thing #2:
So good we hit it twice! Star Trek, that is, over opening weekend. You should, too, because I definitely want them to make more movies with this team.
Thing #3:
Amused by random article titles at work. Sometimes, it's all in who you know. ;) This weeks offering: "Julian's Pagan Revival and the Decline of Blood Sacrifice". It's about the Emperor Julian (AD 360-363), and not
lucifershalo of course, but it still struck me funny.
Also, I think it's just too bad that "Mass Transfer in Single Phase Flow in Packed Beds", is only an article about industrial chemistry.
Thing #4:
I still have too much STUFF! Working on getting rid of more of it, but the going is slow when you really want to avoid chucking everything into a landfill. Oh, and the stuff you would want to keep has to be sorted out of what you don't want.
Thing #5:
Thing #4 currently centers around rooting for my embroidery hoops, etc, so I can join
radcliffe in some mad needlework sessions.
Thing #6:
I am eagerly awaiting the next installment of "The Blues: Disc 2: The Soul of a Man". It's on it's way from Netflix. Hooray research that is also fun!
And that's enough things for now.
