I have a list of about 30 things I'm trying to get done this summer. Most of them revolve around house cleaning and such, as I try to dig my way out of piles of things that have moved with us at least five times and never left their boxes. A few things do rank higher then that however. Such as...

We finally auditioned Bard's Bouts a second time! Yay, the audition is over. I spent Saturday evening feeling as if I had been swimming all day due to the copious amounts of water that get poured directly into my face during the show. (It did feel refreshing during the afternoon, but a lot of it went up my nose. *Cough*) Now we wait for the decision, and as usual for me, I find that my stress about the whole process comes afterward, instead of before. Before the audition I was pretty much stress free and ready to roll with the punches. Now that it's over, I find myself going over the whole thing in my head, thinking about what could have gone better, or what I liked, or what I would have done differently if I had thought of it before we went on. It's not a constant thing, just every once and a while, when my brain isn't occupied with something else. I'll be better after we have an answer one way or the other.

Second thing I did this weekend was go through ALL of my patterns to see exactly what I own, after I discovered that I had two copies of two different patterns when I had only meant to acquire one of each. Came up with a pile of things that I will never use, so I can get rid of them (Yay to less stuff!), and discovered that I own something like 40 wedding gown patterns, none of which have ever been used to make a wedding gown, or a formal, of any kind. Most of those are left over from the days before I knew anything about drafting my own patterns, and the costume patterns from the major companies sucked much more heavily then they do now, so I would try to "kit-bash" the wedding patterns into something resembling period Victorian or Renaissance clothes. I am happy to say that none of these attempts have survived, although I'm sure that my mother probably has photographic evidence lurking somewhere. Scary!
