Ice Storm

What I wish I was doing:

Cleaning my house (It's a winter nesting thing, don't ask.)
Laundry
Working on my piled high basket of mending
Drinking hot cocoa and playing board games with Allie and gmskarka

What I am doing:

Working. As in at work. Because despite the fact that the governor has closed all state offices for the day, the provost feels that we should be stronger than that.

Le sigh.

My sole consolation is that my co-workers are all stuck here too, so we have just ordered in lunch.

I would not feel this grumpy if it were not for the fact that every other educational institution in the area is closed as well.
