I hate admitting it when I have taken on more than I can handle in the time allotted to me. This is largely because when I was younger, I was perfectly capable of pulling all-nighters and getting things done on time and at the last minute. Sadly, this is no longer something I am capable of, but in my head, I still am. So this year, a week away from Media Party, I finally started sewing costumes for the show. All along, I was thinking to myself Last year I made two court costumes in less then a week, that's plenty of time. Of course, what I left out of that equation was that last year, I wasn't employed during that week, so after taking care of the business of looking for work each day, all I had to do was sew. Which is so not the case this year. :( As it stands now, I will barely have finished my clothes, which are neccessary because I have no "boy" clothes, and Gareth will have to wait until opening weekend to look flash in his new get-up. He has other clothes, but they aren't the super keen ones I wanted him to have by this weekend, for which he has my sincere and heartfelt apologies.
Bleh. Mood very bad. Must learn to manage time better. More important, I must learn not to spend entire weeks doing nothing but vegging in front of the TV when I get home. It's bad for the brain.
PS - I have used up the last of my boning supplies with this years costumes. I have a couple of suppliers, but who do you guys order from usually?
*Update* Feeling slightly less cranky and more hopeful now. Thanks for all the tips on where to shop.
